Years ago when I first became pregnant with my son, my husband and I felt that there really wasn’t any need for us to take a prenatal class. We are both medical professionals and I had lots of birth and labouring experience. What could we possibly learn that we didn’t already know?!

In the end we decided to take a prenatal class being held in town. After the birth of our first son we realized two things. One, we definitely were not prepared for birth and two, the class we did take was misleading and lacking on many levels.

It’s important to me that I offer all-inclusive classes to the expecting parents in my community. I like to keep it real, fun and practical. I don’t just focus on the obvious. I make sure you are fully prepared on all levels. I bring my doula, breastfeeding, 5s’s and sleep expertise to the class!

I will come to your home or have you to mine for a 3 hour prenatal education session. This will be very comprehensive and catered to what you want to learn.

If you are interested in the next full day comprehensive prenatal class please contact me to be put on the list. This class will include healthy pregnancy, stages of labour, coping methods, knowing your options, breastfeeding, partners role, bringing baby home, healthy sleep, and hands on stations including learning the 5s’s.
